From this mountaintop observatory at an altitude of 531 meters, a magnificent view unfolds before you: the Sapporo cityscape, the Ishikari Plain and Ishikari Bay, and in the distance, majestic mountain ranges. In 2015, it was chosen as one of Japan's "Top Three Night Views."

From the middle of April until late November, you can drive to the midpoint station on the sightseeing road (paid access), which is a popular scenic drive.
