An important historical site located in the middle of Osaka where you can learn about Japanese history. Construction of Osaka Castle started in 1583 and the main tower was completed in 1585. It was considered unrivaled in the known world. This is the third incarnation of the main tower. An entire building has been given over to a museum, and the 8th floor includes an observation deck where you can get a view of Osaka 50 meters above ground level.
Osaka Castle Park surrounding the castle boasts many important cultural assets, while also being an oasis of greenery in the middle of the city. It is loved by locals and tourists alike, who come to enjoy the changing seasons and beautiful landscape architecture.
