Our new Instagram campaign is looking for photos of karaksa arabesque motifs found in daily life.
Photos including karaksa-patterned fabric, accessories at home or landscapes
that look like the karaksa motif are eligible to win when posted
on Instagram with the hashtag #findingkaraksa.
Every month, we will select two photos for the top #findingkaraksa award
and present complimentary stays redeemable at one of our eight karaksa hotels across Japan!

Why karaksa?

Since ancient times, the karaksa motif has been treasured as a symbol of growth, prosperity and intangible bonds.

The brand logo of the karaksa hotel combines the karaksa motif with the traditional Japanese tomoe and magatama designs to express growth and development, as well as partnership and nobility of spirit.

The karaksa hotel was initiated from the desire to build a hotel brand that would be beloved across generations, as fresh and supple as the karaksa arabesque itself.

The year 2020 has included many restrictions on global travel and activities.
Here at karaksa hotels, we wanted to do something for our guests who can't wait to visit to Japan again. We hope this campaign is a chance for our guests to interact on Instagram through photos of the karaksa motif, our hotel's symbol.

Our new Instagram campaign is looking for photos of karaksa arabesque motifs found in daily life.
Photos including karaksa-patterned fabric, accessories at home or landscapes that look like the karaksa motif are eligible to win when posted on Instagram with the hashtag #findingkaraksa.
Every month, we will select two photos for the top #findingkaraksa award and present complimentary stays redeemable at one of our eight karaksa hotels across Japan!
How to Enter

Step 1：

Take a photo of karaksa motifs found on accessories or other items, in your home, or at tourist attractions. (You can also use older photos, and of course, photos taken at karaksa hotels.)

Step 2：

Follow our official Instagram account @karaksa_hotel_official

Step 3：

Post your photo with the hashtag #findingkaraksa on Instagram.

Award Details
We will award complimentary hotel stays for two couples each month!
- ・Choose from any of the eight karaksa hotels across Japan.
- ・Up to two people can stay for one night free in a Standard Twin/Double room (breakfast included).
- ・Please note that there may be some blackout dates, such as when there isn't any vacancy.
- ・The period of validity will be within six months from the date you are notified that you won.
- ・Winning photos will be selected by the 25th of every month. We will inform winners via Instagram direct message and post the winning photos and account names on our official website the following month.
Notes
- ・Entries are limited to original photographs that depict or represent a karaksa motif.
- ・Photos and Instagram account names submitted may be posted to our official Instagram account @karaksa_hotel_official, on our official website and our official Facebook page.
- ・If the photos posted infringe on the rights of a third party, we are not liable for any responsibility.
- ・Selections will be limited to Instagram accounts that are set to "public."
- ・Photos must have the designated hashtag #findingkaraksa in order to be eligible.
- ・Before submitting an entry, please read through our Community Guidelines 6. Requests when Posting. If the content of a photo violates any of the established criteria, we may exclude it from selection.

Is any photo acceptable?

Entries are limited to original photos of karaksa motifs found in daily life.
How many people can stay for free if I win?

Up to two people can stay for one night free in a Standard Twin/Double room (breakfast included).
Please note that there may be some blackout dates, such as when there isn't any vacancy.

How do I know if I win?
