karaksa hotels & Group Initiatives
Avoiding the "Three Cs" During Your Stay
●
Plastic partitions are being used as sanitary barriers at front desks.
●
Please maintain social distancing measures in all public areas:
-
- ・Front desks
- ・Elevators and escalators
- ・Restaurant and lounge areas
- ・Smoking rooms
- ・Shuttle buses, etc.
●
Contactless check-in/check-out and payment machines are available, including five different languages for international guests. (excluding Tokyo Ginza and Kyoto I)
●
Main lobbies, restaurants, lounges, corridors and guest rooms are ventilated 24 hours a day.
The Three Cs are (1) Closed spaces, (2) Crowded places and (3) Close-contact settings.
Recommendations for Avoiding the "Three Cs"
Approximately half of karaksa hotel rooms are connecting rooms that allow two rooms to be connected with interior doors. This provides two separate bathrooms and is a perfect choice when you need more space.
Sanitation Management Measures
●
Hand sanitizer (alcohol-based) is available at hotel front desks, in main lobbies, restaurants, and large hot baths, in front of elevators and in washrooms.
●
Humidifiers are in operation near hotel front desks.
●
Hand dryers are currently not in operation, and paper towels are provided.
●
All shuttle bus interiors are being sanitized. (service currently suspended)
Guest Rooms
●
All room keys are disinfected before being handed over to guests.
●
●
All sanitation measures are double checked by our janitorial service company managers and persons in charge.
●
The karaksa hotel Group's janitorial service and linen supply service companies are taking the same sanitation management measures as all karaksa hotels.
Guest Cooperation
●
We are confirming the travel itineraries and health condition of our guests upon arrival. We are asking all guests to take their temperature. In necessary cases, we are requesting guests to receive medical consultation at a medical institution. In some other cases, we are asking guests to refrain from using hotel public areas and cooperate with certain limitations to guest services.
●
Please wear a mask inside the hotel at all times. We are distributing masks to guests who request them.
●
We are encouraging all guests to use hand sanitizer.
●
If you are staying more than one night, cleaning your room may be put on hold or canceled as requested.
●
Breakfast buffets have been modified or are temporarily unavailable.
●
Large hot baths are currently operating under revised conditions.
●
While staying at any karaksa hotels location, if you develop a fever, chills or a cough, please notify a staff member.
●
We are asking all guests to cooperate with advance payment or electronic payment.
Staff Countermeasures
●
All staff are wearing masks and glasses.
●
All staff are having their physical condition checked upon arrival to work.
●
All staff are being strictly requested to wash their hands, sanitize regularly and gargle.
At karaksa hotels, we will amend these initiatives as necessary in response to changing needs and situations.
