Takemura uses firm Saga tofu, called “Morika,” which is made using 100% domestically produced soy beans and spring water according to a traditional process. Enjoy a course of boiled tofu with soy sauce broth made with freshly shaved bonito flakes from Makurazaki, Kagoshima.

Takemura’s flavor hasn’t changed in 50 years since opening. Also try the popular sesame tofu and Yuzu-kama tofu.
