Rooms and Accommodation

What are the check-in and check-out times?

Check-in is from 3:00 p.m., check-out is by 11:00 a.m.

What kinds of rooms do you have?

There are six types of room at the hotel. In addition to 57 single rooms and 80 twin rooms, we have one Japanese family room and one wheelchair accessible room. Aside from the wheelchair accessible room, all rooms have a functional layout featuring separate showers, sinks and toilets. For details on our guest rooms, please click here. We also have 110 connecting rooms that are popular with families and groups.

Do all rooms have internet access?

Yes, at karaksa hotels free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms and throughout the hotel.

Is smoking permitted in any of the rooms?

Smoking is not permitted in any of the guest rooms. However, smoking areas are available on the first and second floors.

Is it possible to watch TV programs in languages other than Japanese?

Two Chinese-language television channels (CCTV Daifu [CCTV大富] and Phoenix Television [鳳凰衛視]) are available free of charge via satellite broadcast. For information about specific programs that are available, please ask at the front desk.

Do you have a special rate for children?

Sorry, we do not have a child rate. Children age thirteen and above are charged at the same rate as adults. Children under age thirteen are also charged the same rate as adults if they require a separate bed.

Is there a charge for children who share bedding with their parents?

Children under age thirteen may stay at the hotel free of charge if they share bedding with their parents. Please note there is a maximum of one child per adult for one bed.

Do you have pajamas for children?

Our guests are kindly requested to bring pajamas for their children as none are available at the hotel.

Can pets stay at the hotel?

We are sorry, but we are a pet-free hotel.

Can service dogs stay at the hotel?

Yes. If you plan to bring a service dog, please inform the hotel in advance at the time of booking.

Is the hotel wheelchair accessible?

Yes. The entire hotel is wheelchair accessible.

Do all rooms have a minibar and fridge?

The rooms do not have a minibar, but they do have a fridge. Please note that the fridges do not contain drinks or other items.

What items are available on request?

We keep the following items for temporary use by our guests. Should you wish to borrow any of these items, please ask at the front desk.

Restaurants

What time is breakfast served?

A buffet-style breakfast is available from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. in the restaurant on the first floor. Please be seated by 9:30 a.m.

Are outside visitors allowed to use the restaurant?

We are sorry, but only staying guests of karaksa hotels can enjoy the restaurant.

Is the restaurant available for other than breakfast?

The restaurant space is available, however no food or drink is served outside of breakfast hours.

Facilities and Services at the Hotel

Can luggage be left at the hotel before check-in or after check-out?

Yes, you can leave your luggage at the front desk on the first floor.

Is it possible to send luggage to the hotel before arrival?

Yes. Please mark luggage clearly with the name of the guest, check-in date, luggage contents and contact information and send it to the following address:

*Please do not include cash, valuables or raw food items in the luggage. Your luggage will be handed to you when you check in. If you would like to have your luggage taken directly to your room, please request so to the front desk before your arrival.

Do you have a delivery service?

Yes, this service is available at the front desk. Packing materials are available.

Are there any shops in the hotel?

There are no shops, but there are various types of vending machines on the first and second floors.

Is there a space for storing valuables?

Please place cash, jewelry and other valuables in the security deposit boxes located next to the front desk.

Is it possible to exchange currency at the hotel?

A machine that can exchange foreign currency is located next to the front desk.

Do you have vending machines and ice dispensers?

There are vending machines on the first and second floors. Those on the first floor also sell alcohol. There are no ice dispensers, but ice is available at the front desk.

Is there a smoking area?

Yes, please use the smoking areas on the first and second floors. All other areas of the hotel are non-smoking.

Is there a laundry service?

There is no laundry service, but there is a laundromat on the first floor. The front desk can also advise you about nearby laundries.

Do you have a laundromat?

Yes, they are on the first floor.

Do you have a large public bath?

We are sorry, but we do not.

Are we allowed to go to the communal area in the slippers provided in the room?

Yes.

Is there a massage room?

There is no massage room, but there is one coin-operated massage chair on the second floor. The front desk can also arrange a massage for you, so please feel free to ask us.

Is internet available throughout the hotel?

Yes, a free Wi-Fi connection is available throughout the hotel.

Can we open the windows in the rooms?

We are sorry, but the windows do not open for safety reasons. Please note that the air vent in the bathroom provides ventilation 24 hours a day.

Is there any place nearby for shopping?

A home center and 24-hour supermarket are within five minute’s walk. Both of these facilities have a pharmacy. For details, please ask at the front desk.

What tourist attractions are there near the hotel?

Are there any ATMs nearby?

A Seven Bank ATM is available in the supermarket and convenience store five minutes’ walk away. The convenience store and post office have ATMs that accept foreign cards. For details, please ask at the front desk.

Is there a hospital near the hotel?

The Rinku General Medical Center (a general hospital) is approximately 11 minutes’ drive from the hotel. The hospital has English-speaking staff.

Is there a hotel shuttle bus?

We are sorry, we do not provide shuttle bus services. Please click here for directions to the hotel.

Is the outlet mall close to the hotel? Also, is there a shuttle bus from the hotel to the outlet mall?

It takes around 20 minutes to walk to the outlet mall from the hotel. Please ask at the front desk for a handy map. Unfortunately, we do not offer a shuttle bus service to the outlet mall.

Do you have on-site parking?

We have 20 parking spaces for guests, and one space reserved for disabled access. If you wish to use a parking space, please let us know in advance.

Other

Is there a curfew?

There is no curfew, however the hotel entrance is locked from 01:00 a.m. to 05:00 a.m. for security reasons. The entrance can be opened using your room key. Alternatively, use the intercom to speak with the hotel staff.

How can we get a rental car?

Please ask at the front desk. We will be happy to recommend you a car rental company.

What credit cards are accepted at the hotel?

We accept VISA, MasterCard, JCB, AMEX, Diners Club, UC, DC, NICOS, UFJ and UnionPay.

Is it possible to pay with the Chinese payment services Alipay or WeChat?

Yes, we accept both Alipay and WeChat.

What do you do with lost property?

We keep lost property for up to three months. Food in an open packet will be disposed of on the day it is found, while food in a sealed packet will be kept for three days before it is disposed of. Valuables will be kept at the hotel for five days, then reported to the nearest police station.
*In the interests of the privacy of our guests, the hotel will not contact the owners of lost property, with the exception of certain valuable items.
